For six years, I was the associate with LOVEfundraising, a small consultancy in Vancouver that provided strategic fundraising and philanthropy services to Canadian nonprofits. In 2024, the founder retired and closed the company.
- Developing and implementing fundraising and communication strategies
- Interim staffing for in-house fundraising/communications
- Collaborating on campaign resource/feasibility studies, interviews and recommendation reports
- Crafting and writing cases for support and donor collateral
- Leading and executing grants process, from qualifying prospects to submitting final reports
Before that, I served seven years as deputy director for Philanthropy Northwest, a Seattle-based nonprofit network of 150+ private and public foundations, corporate giving programs and individual donors across the Pacific Northwest.
